Build 4,500 square meters of Entertainment
Our client was tasked with creating, designing and installing a massive “Tent of Entertainment” only one week prior to the start of the event, to coincide with the national school vacation period between 31 March and 9 April, 2017.
In addition to the development and implementation, our client was also assigned to create, contract and manage all the entertainment event activities during this period.
It was no easy feat given the enormity of the assignment and the relatively short period of time to create and implement the program.
In less than one week, our client assembled a team of design, logistics and event experts and created a fully comprehensive engaging experience within a 4,500 square meter tent.
The tent included luxurious fittings and offerings including seating for 1,200 guests and a stage, purpose built for the six unique and entertaining events that were coordinated throughout the ten days.
Once the concept was given the green light, our client only had one week to make it all happen. Relying on its team of experts and a lot of hard work, it all happened – exceeding everyone’s expectations.
Two plays were held: Khawater Zalam and Habel Ghassil, as well as four outstanding family oriented shows which included an interactive bubble show, a shadow performance, sand writing and a dynamic and engaging light show.
Over the ten day period, the six different events comprised 12 different sessions attracting 8,380 attendees.
An additional 560 persons attended however they were not included in the official summary as they were distinguished guests, VIPs and members of the media.
This in spite of a sandstorm on the first night which caused the organizer to evacuate the village and another sandstorm on the last day which had a dramatic impact on attendance of the final day.
